A Procurement Administrator position is currently available with a growing manufacturer of specialised products.


  • Reporting to the Financial Controller
  • Administering the procurement of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Non-COGS including coordinating shipping requirements and customs clearance
  • Being engaged in the validation of all purchase orders
  • Act as the purchaser of the organisation and the main point of contact with suppliers
  • Responsible for managing and administering the organisational inventory budget
  • Active involvement in researching and negotiating better pricing, quality products and credit terms
  • Co‐ordinating all carriage / shipping activities including customs clearing and Intrastate filings
  • Act as the custodian of the approved suppliers’ database
  • Handling all enquiries related to orders and credit control
  • Be responsible for the costing of the inventory procured to be eventually shared with the COGS Management accountant
  • Performing any inventory related tasks

Education & Experience

  • You must be in possession of an MQF Level 6 qualification in Business or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years previous local experience is a requirement
  • Previous local experience in shipping will be considered a strong asset
  • Strong proficiency with the Internet, Microsoft Office and electronic devices especially Microsoft Excel


  • Fluency in Maltese, English, and Italian
  • A valid Maltese driving license
  • Organised and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Results oriented 
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Team player
