In the position of a QC Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of Quality and leading a growing department of 25 people. You will be responsible for:
- Planning and supervising the activities of the QC Lab
- Providing support, direction, and coaching to subordinates
- Maintaining departmental employee recruitment, training and development, and retention levels
- Reviewing and approving new and revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and other laboratory documents
- Directing the work activities of analytical testing groups to assure compliance of released products with specifications
- Ensuring GMP compliance as per local procedures, global policies and EU GMP guidelines
Education and Experience
This vacancy requires:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related field
- A minimum of four years of experience in a managerial position within a QC environment
- Proficient level of English - both written and spoken
- Living in Malta
