 EF International Language School, Malta is looking to recruit a Transportation Coordinator/Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. 


The Role:
Take overall responsibility for the full activity transport programme at the Centre. From managing the liaison and booking of all transport for activities to work with the wider activities team organising student parties or sports tournaments, to planning the logistics of a weekend excursion; this is a busy yet rewarding summer job. You will gain invaluable experience in strategic planning, management, logistics and customer service and the role could lead to many other full-time opportunities within EF. You will receive in-house training and support and learn how to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Planning of the transport for all activities
  • Promoting activities and excursions
  • Liaising with local suppliers and attractions
  • Coordinating & Communicating the transportation timetables for all activity groups
  • Monitoring activity stock levels with regular stock take
  • Collecting, recording and banking income
  • Activity Leader support including observations, feedback and development
  • Delivering regular leader briefings
  • Collating and reviewing activities paperwork
  • Welfare and discipline on activities and excursions
  • Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise.



Requirements:

  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge in excel is preferable
  • Experience in event management, logistical planning, and management
  • Goes above and beyond, never settling for the status quo
  • Maintains a balance between professionalism and fun
  • Extremely organised and a natural leader
  • Capable of using your own initiative
  • Knowledge of the local area preferred
  • Have the right to live and work in the country of employment
  • Complete fluency in English
  • Attend a Senior Staff Training weekend prior to your contract commencing.
