Production Technician

A new Production Technician is now available within the manufacturing industry. Reporting to the Supervisor, your responsibilities will be:

• Performing maintenance on plant, equipment and machinery
• Assisting with fault finding and root cause analysis on electrical/electronic, mechanical and HVAC equipment
• Operating plant machinery to monitor their working condition and carrying out inspections to identify level of maintenance required
• Establishing methods of testing and inspection on plant, machinery and product output
• Adhering to the preventive maintenance schedule
• Ensuring that team targets are reached in the most cost-effective manner

Working Hours: Day in Day out basis (06:00-19:30hrs with 1 hour paid break) (A change in shift rotation is in the pipeline - moving to 3-shift or 4-shift in the future)

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience working within the manufacturing industry 
• In possession of Electrical License A is a must. Electrical License B will be considered a strong asset.
• Higher Technical Diploma (HTD) or Higher National Diploma (HND) is ideal
• Fluency in Maltese and English
