Role Overview

As a Systems Administrator, you will be a crucial member of the ICT & Infrastructure team. Collaborating with team members, you will focus on IT engineering projects, working on setups of new ICT Infrastructure and maintaining existing systems. This role offers an opportunity to liaise with senior engineers, contribute productively, and expand your knowledge within an energetic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Setup: Participate in the setup of brand-new ICT Infrastructure.
• System Maintenance: Maintain existing systems, including server setups, wired and wireless networks, communication, and security systems.
• Proactive Management: Ensure the smooth and efficient running of systems by taking proactive actions individually and within a dynamic team of IT engineers.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• Driving Licence: The candidate must hold a valid driving licence and have the ability to drive.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in any IT Support environment.
• Networking Knowledge: Good knowledge of networking concepts, WAN/LAN configuration, security, and network monitoring.
• Operating Systems: Good knowledge of MS Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
• Telecommunication Knowledge: Basic knowledge of common telecommunication systems.
• Hardware and Software: Hands-on experience with the installation of IT hardware and software.
• Technical Expertise: Experience with Firewall, switching, and routing.

Assessment Process

Technical Test: Candidates will undergo a hands-on technical test. This will involve setting up and configuring the components that they are knowledgeable about from the following list:

• Configure Cisco ASA (Firepower 1010)
• Set up Hyper-V
• Install and configure Windows Server
• Set up a Domain Controller (DC)
• Configure a client machine

Based on the result from this test, the candidate will be considered for 1st Tier Support, 2nd Tier Support or Engineer roles respectively.
