The Office of the Attorney General in Mata is looking to recruit a Manager within the Information Technology department to join their team on a full-time basis to carry out IT support duties. The selected candidates will be employed on an indefinite term basis, subject to a probation period, and will be required to work for a minimum of forty hours per week.
Requirements:
In possession of a recognized qualification at MQF Level 6 (with a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVETS or equivalent*) in Computing and/or ICT or; a recognized comparable professional qualification at MQF Level 6 in Computing and/or ICT plus one (1) year relevant work experience in a formal and mature ICT environment; OR
In possession of a recognized qualification at MQF Level 5 (with a minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVETS or equivalent*) in Computing and/or ICT or; a recognized comparable qualification at MQF Level 5 in Computing and/or ICT plus three (3) years relevant work experience in a formal and mature ICT environment.
Proficient in Maltese and English Languages.
*A recognized Qualification comparable to 180/60 ECTS/ECVETS credits, as applicable is only accepted subject to an MFHEA formal recognition statement being submitted with the application.
Office of the Attorney General: The Office of the Attorney General is the constitutionally independent prosecution service of the Republic of Malta.
The origins of the Office of the Attorney General may vaguely be traced back at least to the times when Malta was governed by the Knights of St. John when the Advocate and the Procurator Fiscal investigated and prosecuted all crimes. The Office of the Attorney General also acts as the central authority for the purpose of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
