Junior IT Support

Our Finance industry client is urgently hiring for an Junior IT Support Specialist to join their ranks to provide the best possible support for their internal users.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Prioritize and resolve tickets
• Performing electrical safety checks on the company’s computer equipment
• Provide internal user support
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Respond to all callouts in a timely fashion

• Excellent level of English, both spoken and written
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with Windows Systems and environment would be considered an asset
• Previous experience within banking, FinTech, or finance would be considered an asset
• Friendly and positive attitude

• MQF Level 6 Bachelor's degree with no experience
• OR
• MQF Level 4 with experience
