EF International Language School in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Facilities and IT Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
The IT & Facilities Coordinator will provide front-line technical and office facilities support for our staff in our Malta Schools & centres. While reporting to the school manager, you will be hands-on working on-site to support our staff. You will be collaboratively working alongside the IT Service Desk team across our offices to learn and grow your skillset as you progress your career at EF. This is an on-site position expected to be in the School on a full-time schedule.
Job Duties - IT Support:
Enable all EF staff to be set up for success by providing end-to-end technical configuration and support
Keeps contact with the central IT Team
Helps resolve all IT issues that require manual intervention with the Malta school and centres
Ensures school/centres networks needs are fully functional while overseeing the daily running of these centres.
Job Duties Facilities:
Responsible for coordinating the planning, upgrading and maintenance of the school building and facilities
Supports projects as they arise that include but are not limited to, building issues, employee desk setups and moves, building relationships with external vendors, printer support and set-up, supporting office-wide network issues
Plans, budgets and schedules facilities program
Plans, budgets and schedules preventive maintenance of all centres including HVAC & school equipment
Compliant with and abreast of health and safety regulations
Organizes First Aid and Fire Safety courses.
Who are you?
Ideally, you have 2 years of experience working full-time in an IT customer-facing support role
You have an interest in supporting facilities-based projects
You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
You are a technical person with a high level of customer service and superhero levels of empathy
You are able to multitask, and time management is one of your favourite subjects
A self-starter who is motivated in an autonomous environment with the ability to continuously learn and ask questions
Able to work to deadlines and work under pressure
You have a key eye for identifying and fixing issues even before they arise
Very curious, creative, flexible, and adaptable.
