Maltapost Plc is looking to recruit an Applications Support Officer on a full-time basis to carry duties within the Company’s Information Systems team.
Job Role:
As an Applications Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to grow in one of Malta’s major logistics companies, having one of the most extensive retail networks and services on the island. MaltaPost p.l.c. is a well-established company with a complex IT environment that is going through a transformation journey to adopt new technologies in the provision of its services.
The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot application issues to ensure business continuity at all times and escalate to a higher level of support when required;
Provide application support to users;
Gather and document business requirements to ensure that new applications' functionality deliver business expectations;
Verify new functionality and assist in the UAT process.
Applicants shall:
Either hold or be in at an advanced stage of obtaining a qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
Have an analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent teamwork;
Be able to communicate effectively in English both written and spoken;
Possess a valid driving licence.
