Applications Manager

Our client is looking to recruit for an Applications Manager vacancy based in Malta. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the implementation, maintenance, configuration and support of high profiles IT applications and systems
• Improving and monitoring the performance and security of new and existing systems
• Leading the root cause analysis when resolving incidents and providing preventive measures
• Liaising with different core teams to deliver new deployments
• Assisting in designing new application systems and reviewing existing ones to ensure adequate technologies are integrated
• Ensuring quality and  compliance standards through project life cycles
• Overseeing generation of technical documentation

Education and Qualifications:

• Previous extensive experience in application management/support 
• Working knowledge of server and database administration (SQL/Oracle databases)
• Leading experience would be preferred
• Knowledge of scripting and PKI solutions would be a plus
