Technical Product Owner

Our client within the FinTech industry, and part of a well-established group of companies, are on the lookout for a Technical Product Owner to join their team in Malta.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Working with business functions and system analysts to appropriately capture feature requests to organise them into prioritized user stories and backlogs.
• Leading the delivery and implementation of technical projects using agile methodologies
• Participating in end-to-end activities related to implementation planning, issue management, communication, and change management
• Acting as the technical advisor to internal stakeholders
• Acting as the customer-technology bridge of the institution, such as understanding customer needs and translating these into technical requirements
• Participating in integration projects with various providers, taking lead in the initial analysis of all API integrations.
• Helping personalize the customer experience while at the same time accomplishing future business scalability.
• Being at the forefront of technical innovation, and always seeking to explore and implement best-of-breed technical solutions.
• Liaising with 3rd party providers to ensure successful implementation of technical projects.
• Working closely with specialists within the technology function to ensure the availability and security of the institution's technical product offering.

• Previous work experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience with configurations, testing, training and implementation of new applications and systems.
• Must have a background in Finance/FinTech industry.
