A vacancy has arisen for a ERP Business Analyst to work within the Distribution industry. The job will entail maintaining a close working relationship with the Group Financial Controller. Your main responsibilities are as follows
Supporting the Group through the upgrade and implementation of its new enterprise resource planning application (“ERP”)
Analysing existing business processes and identifying how these can be optimised and improved within the new ERP
Preparing data for migration from legacy systems, and validation of data migrated into the new ERP
Participating in user acceptance testing and giving feedback to the solution vendors during the implementation phase
Following go-live of the ERP, acting as a business owner for the ERP and advocating for its use throughout the business so as to improve the overall operating efficiency and effectiveness of the Group
Being a catalyst for change within the group by analysing business processes used in day-to-day ERP operations and reporting and proposing improvements where relevant
Supporting the business in the development of reports and dashboards from the ERP and other relevant data sources
Increasing the automation and effective collection and use of Group data and processing with a focus on data quality, through the ongoing identification of new tools, procedures, external services and software to support data validation and cleansing
Monitoring and auditing data quality
Liaising with Group senior management to fully understand data content and identify useful indicators or analysis tools to guide commercial decisions and monitor performance
Gathering, understanding and documenting detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
Analysing and interpreting complex data sets relating to the Group’s business performance, producing and tracking key performance indicators
Creating data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
Preparing and delivering clear presentations and reports for senior management
Liaising with and coordinating various IT service providers and subcontractors
Providing input and advice relating to project management, bids and business plans prepared by the Group
Reporting accurately and clearly on activities undertaken
Carrying out any other task which may be reasonably required in this position
Skill-sets and Requirements
Excellent Communication skills in English is a must
Candidates that possess International Business Experience preferred
Must be very analytical
Travel is required - potentially once every two months
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Analysis, IT or similar
Knowledge of data analysis tools, ERP Systems, MS Dynamics Navision and Business Central is a must
Experience overseeing and managing business operations, including sales, business development, and marketing would be considered an asset
