Systems Engineer - Maltese Speaking

One of our longest established  IT Service provider clients is actively hiring for a Systems Engineer to join their growing team. 

Responsibilities

• Supporting internal users for all their IT needs by monitoring and managing issues and risks and escalating as needed
• Document all project implementations
• Experience with operating system Windows and Linux
• Improving existing systems platforms, applications, and services by optimizing enhancements and introducing optimization upgrades

• Designing, integrating and managing complex platform solutions

• Collaborating with the Applications team to design the supporting environment for the solution

• Experience in Virtualization, Cloud, Storage and networking technologies
• Ability to build enterprise architecture roadmaps
• Windows and Linux knowledge
• Exposure to Hybrid Integration Platforms
• Valid drivers license
• The following certifications would be considered an asset: Cisco CCNA, Redhat, Oracle Linux, VMWare, MCSE/MCSA and Azure, and HPE (Storage & Servers)
• Professional fluency in Maltese AND English

• University degree in ICT, Engineering or related field OR
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an Enterprise IT environment
