A reputable professional services firm is currently looking to hire a Systems Engineer to support and enhance its IT operations.
Job description:
- Take a leading role in the operational support and maintenance of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network components
- Collaborate with the Applications team to design and implement the underlying infrastructure required to support business solutions
- Design, integrate, and manage complex infrastructure platforms tailored to organizational needs
- Monitor system operations, manage risks and issues, and escalate when necessary to ensure service continuity
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation following project implementations
Requirements
- Proficient in working with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux
- Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud, storage, and networking technologies, with the ability to contribute to enterprise architecture planning
- Familiarity with hybrid integration platforms
- Strong command of the English language
- Holds a valid driving license
Education and Experience
- A degree in ICT, Engineering or related field or
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an enterprise IT environment
