Systems Administrator

Looking for a Systems Administrator to work with a young and dynamic entity in Malta within the Sports Industry. The selected candidate will be reporting to the HR Director and must be able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision, willing to get her/his hands dirty with a can-do attitude. This position is being offered on a 3 year definite contract.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor IT policies and procedures
• Administer the IT system of the Malta FA
• Provide first line support to end users on systems, applications and office productivity tools
• Participate in the analysis, purchase, implementation and evaluation of IT hardware and software
• Install and administer desktop PCs, laptops, and other IT related equipment
• Coordinate and cooperate will all IT Service Providers
• Provide support in all matters relating to IT negotiations with third parties
• Compile reports as regards IT
• Organize and participate in audits related to IT use and hardware
• Comply with data protection requirements
• Ensure adherence to policies and approved budgets
• Participate in an ongoing critical review of the adopted policies and procedures
• Provide the necessary support in ICT training of staff
• Manage staff assigned to assist in the carrying out of related duties

• Minimum of 2 years Experience in a similar position
• Able to work on own initiative
• Flexible and able to adapt
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken

• Certificates in an IT Related course
