System Administrator

Job Description
Betstudios Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a full-time System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our network and technology infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with the development team to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. The right candidate will ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

•  Implement, maintain, monitor, and support critical systems
•  Develop and review procedures to maintain security and protect systems
•  Develop and maintain system monitoring and maximize user experience
•  Identify and troubleshoot production issues, whilst providing incident reports
•  Provide technical support on networks, virtualization, and other systems
•  Work closely with internal team for server optimizations and maintenance where needed
•  Keep the environment updated and take a proactive approach with regards to growth, scalability, and performance.

Qualities:

•  Very experienced with Linux systems such as CentOS
•  Strong Microsoft and Mac administration skills
•  Good documentation practices
•  Strong knowledge of firewalls, network configuration, and security
•  Proficient in virtualised and cloud environments
•  Experienced with proxying TCP and HTTP-based applications
•  Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
