Senior Linux Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit for a Senior Linux Systems Engineer vacancy in Malta. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and maintaining the infrastructure and company products
• Working closely with technical teams to deliver Linux-related projects and product analysis
• Handling day to day operational duties
• Providing and establishing correct technical direction to teams and professionals
• Maintaining embedded Linux-related applications and operating systems
• Mentoring junior engineers and building a stronger team

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• Minimum 4 years experience in a Linux environment
• Experience in web services, REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience in database administration and scripting (SQL, Perl, J2EE etc)
• Experience in deployment and automation tools would be preferred
