IT Engineer

Our Managed ICT solutions provider client is urgently seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join their growing team. Established in 2018, our client has grown exponentially within the European market and is looking to add another team member.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent levels of support to a variety of clients
• Support various systems including servers, storage, and networks
• Maintain high levels of security
• Work closely with various clients to ensure that their support needs are met
• Provide proactive 2nd line support
• Be engaged during the pre-sales process
• Ensure proper documentation is complete

• Expertise in O365, firewalls, VPNs, IPs syetsm
• Experience in 1st and 2nd line support
• Experience with cyber security
• Experience with SMTP, DNS, SNMP, DHCP and routing
• Excellent English and Maltese fluency
• Logical and proactive thinker who stays up-to-date with the newest tech
• Be a self starter and independent worker with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Valid drivers license
• Phenomenal time management and multi tasking skills
• Certifications or 2 years of experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Cloud Services

• Relevent degree would be considered an asset
• CCNA and/or Fortinet NSE would be considered an asset
