We seek a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to join Bajada Lyons Group. The ideal candidate will manage our IT infrastructure, implement and maintain technology solutions, and provide technical support to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration & Infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and telecommunications systems (3CX)
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Office 365 environment, including user accounts, security settings, and collaboration tools
  • Oversee hardware and software procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, cost analysis, and asset management
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive hardware asset tracking system for all IT equipment
  • Create and maintain detailed records of user rights, equipment assignments, and access levels for all team members
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or modifications
  • Ensure regular backup of critical data and maintain disaster recovery protocols
  • Conduct regular audits of hardware assets and user access rights to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT operations

  • Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides
  • Establish IT policies and best practices aligned with industry standards.

User Support & Training

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and queries
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users
  • Escalate complex issues to software providers when necessary and manage the resolution process
  • Conduct user training sessions on new software, systems, and security practices
  • Manage user access and permissions across all platforms.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain IT security measures
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Regular security audits and updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration and deployment
  • Experience with network administration and security
  • Proficiency in managing VoIP systems, particularly 3CX
  • Experience with IT asset management and tracking systems
  • Knowledge of access rights management and user provisioning
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)
  • Experience with process documentation and SOP development
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks
  • Experience in training and supporting non-technical users.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-service oriented mindset.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 30-minute break included in working hours
  • May require occasional after-hours work for system maintenance or emergencies
  • Some on-site presence required for hardware support and user assistance across our facilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: €28,000 - €30,000 per annum

  • Special call-out charge of €35 per incident for emergency support between midnight and 5 AM (in addition to overtime rate).
