Director of IT

Hili Ventures Ltd in Malta is seeking to appoint a Director of IT to oversee the development, implementation, and use of corporate technology in Hili Ventures Ltd and start-up businesses within the group.

Job Role: 
Based in Malta and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Hili Ventures, the Director of IT will manage and execute improvement projects and all technological operations whilst positioning technology as the enabler of information and knowledge, in line with the company’s objectives. The successful candidate will ensure that technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely; establish and review IT policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and to support the business strategy and IT priorities.

The Director of IT will have the necessary experience and attributes to work in a fast-paced environment on an international level, be a skilled communicator able to balance the needs of all stakeholders, and work with senior management to identify business and technology needs.

The Requirements:
The successful candidate will have an academic degree in an Information Technology-related area, at least three years of experience in a similar role, and be able to lead the IT team. The ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving and functional excellence, the ability to mentor and motivate teams while having profound knowledge of industry standards, and infrastructure technologies, and excellent project management skills, will be considered an asset.
