Data Centre Technician

Our client is offering a NOC Engineer job opportunity in Malta to work on a shift basis to cover the company's 24x7 operations. As a NOC Engineer, you will work in a dynamic team on shift to ensure clients stay online in a mission-critical environment

Responsibilities will include as follows:

• Providing 1st level technical support to the company's data centre's clients
• Identifying and responding to faults 
• Monitoring of network infrastructure and all data centre systems
• Supporting servers running on both Microsoft Windows and Linux
• Ensuring that the services offered to the company's clients are of the highest quality throughout

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/ Degree in Networking and Systems 
• 1-year experience within a similar role would be preferred
• CCNA will be considered an asset
• Students in the final stages of their degree/diploma will also be considered
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server platforms and/or Linux, and IPv4 or IPv6 will be considered as an asset
