Core Networks Engineer

Our client in the finance sector is urgently hiring a Core Networks Specialist to join their growing IT team. This role is ideal for those looking to take the next step in their IT career. 

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the day to day operations
• Provide IT support throughout the organization including educating and assisting end-users 
• Provide remote and on-site support to key financial service systems
• Ensure backups and contingency plans are ongoing, up to date, and functional at all times
• Manage and prioritize tasks with efficiency and effectiveness 
• Work closely with the IT team that has various components
• Focus on emerging technologies and stay up to date with changes and advancements

• Experience with Core Systems
• Experience of SQL or Oracle and all aspects of databases
• Experience with PowerShell
• Excellent English communication skills
• Collaborative attitude, problem solving skills, and focus on efficiency
• Strong Windows knowledge
• TSQL, SSIS and SSRS
• Experience with IBM systems would be considered an asset

• MCAST or University Degree in IT related field
