As an Academic Coordinator within an institution providing accredited courses, your duties will include;
Management and administration of, including logistics concerning all aspects of the academic programmes, including: venue management (i.e. venue identification and reservations (including payments, invoicing and receipting);
Liaising with speakers, lecturers, examiners;
Co-ordination of payments for services rendered by speakers, lecturers, examiners;
Securing of required audio-visual equipment and other lecturer tools and aids as required;
Food & beverage requirements (as relevant);
Co-ordination of responses to queries received from interested applicants and students;
Dissemination of course materials, hand-outs, etc.;
Attendee registrations (including payments, invoicing and receipting);
Co-ordination of examinations (including assessment process and invigilation);
Co-ordination of record retention;
Implementation of regulatory matters and ensure adherence to course regulations;
Marketing/promotion of events including co-ordinating social media promotion, and liaising on behalf of the Institute with external service providers engaged to devise and/or execute marketing campaigns;
Market intelligence (for the purpose of development and enhancement).
