Tendering Estimator

Our client who specializes in the building services industry is looking for a Tendering Estimator. Your roles and responsibilities include: 

• Analyzing tendering specifications or client requirements and BOQs
• Collecting different quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Identifying labor, material, costs and time requirements by researching proposals, blueprints, and any related documents
• Extrapolating data from specifications or client requirements to send quotations from suppliers or subcontractors
• Compiling documentation for tendering/quotation submissions 
• Preparing technical specifications for final approval submissions
• Issuing any necessary purchase orders 
• Updating clients on project forecasting 
• Keeping track and records of all literature, manuals and products
• finalizing requests for payments based on contract BOQs

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
• Well organised, In possession of good communication skills, and excellent reporting skills, and above all a team player.

• Must possess the basic knowledge in mechanical building services, with the ability to estimate large projects
