Role Overview
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join the Domestic Operations division of this leading logistics provider. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising daily warehouse functions while maintaining a clean, safe, and productive environment. This hands-on role involves leading warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and upholding safety and inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring productivity, teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Operational Efficiency: Monitor and implement effective warehouse procedures to improve space utilisation, streamline handling processes, and minimise delays.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce health and safety policies across the warehouse and promote a culture of safety among team members.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched in a timely and organised manner.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and finalise regular operational and distribution-related reports to support business performance tracking.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Education: O' Level standard of education is required. Certifications in warehouse operations or logistics would be an asset.
• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse leadership or management role is essential.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of both Maltese and English is required to succeed in this role.
• Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated team collaboration and leadership qualities with the ability to motivate others.
• Technical Skills: Competent in operating forklifts; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Organisation: Highly organised, capable of managing multiple responsibilities and maintaining an orderly warehouse.
• Self-Motivated: Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to take initiative without constant supervision.
• Problem-Solving: Able to make sound decisions under pressure, including last-minute logistical changes.
