Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for logistics, inventory control and distribution? We are currently looking for a Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and distribution processes. This is a key role where you will ensure that both storage and delivery functions run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:

Oversee goods receiving, stock replenishment, and inventory control processes. Ensure stock accuracy, handle stock discrepancies, and support with regular stocktakes.

• Warehouse Operations:

Manage daily picking operations, stock movements, and storage organization. Ensure warehouse standards, safety, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

• Distribution & Route Planning:

Plan and organize delivery routes according to schedules and available resources. Ensure timely and efficient deliveries while optimizing vehicle and staff allocation.

Team Supervision:

Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse operators and delivery personnel. Ensure that all team members are performing their duties effectively.

• Training & Coaching:

Support new employee onboarding and ensure ongoing training for all team members on operational standards, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.

• Communication & Problem Solving:

Be the go-to person for resolving operational issues within the warehouse and distribution teams. Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Skillsets and Requirements:

• Clean Police Conduct.

• Minimum Driving Licence B.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a team.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics supervisory role will be considered an asset.
