Storekeeper

Job Description
Nature Line Ltd in Mala is searching for an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen individual will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock including store organization, stocktaking, and consignment checks. 

*Candidates will only be shortlisted if living in Malta and have a valid working permit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible to store manager.
• Maintain the store neat and tidy.
• Stock the materials in a proper manner in the appropriate location code number wise and category-wise.
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
• Carry out periodical physical verification and assess the stock position.
• Prepare purchase order and submit it for the signature of the manager.
• Receive and unload the goods supplied by the supplier.
• During receipt of goods from the supplier, they help the store manager to check the quantity and quality and stock the materials inappropriate locations, and report those to account for reimbursements and record keeping.
• In addition to the above, any other duties are given by the manager or the management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
• Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and legally.
• At least 1 year of experience in store-keeping, inventory control, or record-keeping.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification.
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry. 
• Must be responsible, accurate, and well-organised. 
• Honest team player, outgoing, and able to work on their own initiative in a very busy environment. 
• Willing to work extra hours when required and able to work in a dynamic environment.
