As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Stock & Warehousing Coordinator. This role forms part of the Stock Control Unit, which reports to the CFO.
The Stock & Warehousing Coordinator position is primarily responsible for inventory control and warehousing coordination, providing essential support to internal users in areas such as stock levels, warehouse and distribution. The role is integral to maintaining an accurate and up-to-date inventory system, ensuring that it reflects the true physical stock across our warehousing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise suppliers of any discrepancies related to original invoices in incoming consignments.
• Manage and record location transfers within the inventory system.
• Monitor and coordinate warehouse storage levels and assist in space optimization.
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure smooth inbound and outbound stock movements.
• Support department sales managers with timely information on stock levels and expiries
• Perform adjustments to product stock cards in the system as needed
• Provide management with timely reports on products approaching expiry.
• Reconcile returned goods from retail outlets and amend stock levels accordingly.
• Perform stock adjustments for discrepancies between physical stock and system records within specified timeframes.
• Participate in regular stock takes and warehouse audits.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
• Confident in using inventory and warehousing systems.
• Possess an O-Level standard of education or equivalent.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal departments and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.
• Positive mindset with a “can-do”, “speed” and “passion” approach to work.
• Prior experience in inventory management and warehousing will be considered an asset.
