Job Description
Arkadia Foodstores Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Stacker to join their team on a full-time and part-time basis.  This vacancy is open for the Foodstores in Portomaso. The selected candidates will report to the Foodstore Manager and will be responsible To ensure that adequate stock is maintained for sale at the Foodstore.

Responsibilities include:

• To be fully conversant with company policies and procedures and adhere to them as per job requirements.
• Responsible to check and ensure adequate stock levels on display.
• To submit orders electronically and forward them to Duty Managers for approval.
• Liaise with Suppliers to ensure products are procured and delivered on time.
• Liaise with Suppliers to ensure returns are collected.
• Ensure that display of products is adequate to maximize sales.
• Stacking of goods on shelves.
• To continuously suggest and recommend new products to the Duty Managers.
• Maintain cleanliness on shelves and keep the section well organized and well merchandised.
• Any other General duties as assigned by the Food Store management.
• Maintain high-quality customer interaction.
• Greet and assist customers with their requirements, and offer assistance and suggestions.
• To maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Being a team player and assisting colleagues where and when needed.
• Communicating any information that may be heard, noticed, or otherwise obtained about competitors and their products and any other matter that affects the competitiveness of the Foodstore business.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Be able to speak, read and write fluently in English
• Possess a Food Handling License
