Shipping Clerk

Our client, who specialises in the Manufacturing industry, is currently looking for a Shipping Clerk. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the preparation of quotes
• Providing logistical solutions to customers
• Following up on every shipment to ensure on-time delivery
• Negotiating prices, liaising and coordinating bookings with other Shipping Agents and Shipping Carriers, both locally and international
• Updating shipment files and archiving accordingly
• Preparation contribution calculations

• Previous experience in a Shipping / Logistics / Customer Care role
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office 
• Be analytical and meticulous in your approach to work
• Able to work with tight deadlines

• A lvl / Diploma level of Education
