Senior Buyer (FMCG)

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement, strong negotiation skills, and an eye for detail? 

Good Earth is looking for a Senior Buyer (FMCG) to drive our sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, and logistics optimisation across a dynamic portfolio of brands.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead procurement of core commodity items, working closely with internal teams to manage cost, availability, and quality.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and secure competitive deals.
• Monitor trends in the food and beverage market to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Support the preparation of purchase orders and the planning of consignments, in coordination with other team members.
• Collaborate with our logistics and administration teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
• Continuously seek out efficiency improvements and opportunities for margin growth.

Requirements:

• A hands-on professional with proven experience in buying food, beverage, or ingredient products.
• Familiar with procurement in FMCG, retail, or hospitality settings.
• A confident negotiator with excellent supplier relationship management skills.
• Commercially astute, with a keen sense of what moves in the market.
• Organised, decisive, and proactive.
• Comfortable using Excel and procurement platforms (Eyesel experience is an asset).
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Maltese is considered an asset.
