Purchasing Officer (Medical)

Our client, a well-established, international company within the healthcare industry, is recruiting for a Purchasing Officer who will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager. The responsibilities include:

• Preparing and executing plans for the purchase of supplies and equipment
• Sourcing products in accordance to specifications and guidelines
• Issuing quotations, evaluating offers and conducting logistical arrangements for the delivery of orders
• Resolving any contractual disputes directly with the suppliers / client's
• Building and maintaining new and existing relationships suppliers and clients
• Pricing calculations including shipping costs and delivery time frames
• Liaising with the Finance department with regards to purchase invoices and purchase orders
• Performing other duties which may be required from time to time
