Purchasing Executive (South of Malta)

Our client, specializing in the Maritime and Marine industry is looking for a Purchasing Executive. Your roles and responsibilities will include the following: 

• Generating Purchase Orders
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers 
• Coordinating devilery of items and local and/or foreign suppliers
• Ensuring proper documentation such as invoices and delivery notes are received in a timely manner
• Maintaining records for safety equipment and ensuring all relevant checks
• Organizing stock take when required
• Building relationships with suppliers
• Maintaining stock records for parts and equipment 

• Previous working experience in a maintenance/engineering will be considered an asset
• Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
• Excellent team player with written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills

• A level standard of education
• Candidates must speak Maltese
