Purchasing Executive

E.J. Busuttil Limited is an established leader in the importation and distribution of premium healthcare preparations. We aim to provide service excellence by consistently striving to deliver quality, professionalism and innovation within the local healthcare industry. 

Due to our expanding operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of Medicinals and equipment that meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and approval processes.
• Track and manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, databases, and reports.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyse market trends and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies and processes.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Strong communication skills in both English & Maltese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literate.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and a keen eye for detail.
