Procurement Officer (Hybrid)

Within this Purchasing Officer position you will form part of the Purchasing Department taking care of all aspects of international procurement and product management operations with respect to your assigned product families. Working within a small yet dynamic and multicultural team based in Malta, your duties will include:

• Sourcing products, negotiations with suppliers, creating detailed price studies and monitoring purchase orders
• Increasing your supplier service level by working closely with the Shipping & Logistics Department to ensure goods are delivered on time and complete
• Keeping in contact, both verbally and in writing, with external suppliers, customers and buyers
• Contract management and negotiations 
• Working closely with finance, engineering and logistics as needed

Remuneration package will depend on the candidate's experience

• Willingness to travel on a frequent basis both within Europe and the Far East is necessary
• Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office, Excel and Access.
• You will also be organized individual with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Excellent communication skills in English, other languages considered an asset

• Must have experience within sanitary ware, HVAC knowledge is considered an asset
• Ability to interpret and manage international procurement contracts
