Our client, who specialises in the Manufacturing industry, is currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager. The responsibilities include:
- Participating in supplier meetings and liaison with suppliers on the negotiation of contracts or other supply agreements
- Reviewing of the data structures currently employed within procurement with a view to establishing an improved system
- Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
- Performing cost analysis and benchmarking of purchases
- Preparing reports regarding market conditions and costs
