Procurement Executive

Job Description
Our client is an esteemed organization providing design and project management services to a wide client base in Malta, and they are looking to recruit a Procurement Executive to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting tender preparation, processes & contract administration;
• Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from both local and overseas vendors;
• Evaluating vendor quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project;
• Advising internally and externally on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions;
• Taking charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules;
• Resolving supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors;
• Evaluating supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation;
• Implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead-time requirements.

Applicants will:

• Have approximately 5 years+ of experience in a similar role (preferably in the architectural or interiors sectors);
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills;
• Have experience in negotiating with suppliers;
• Show a self-driven, resourceful attitude and a proactive approach to a busy workload;
• Be proficient with MS Office Applications.
