We are looking for a Parts & Logistics Coordinator to join our client's dynamic operation. The selected person will be responsible for providing clerical support in order to ensure effective and efficient administrative and accounting operations.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is an airline registered in Malta.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Procure spare parts, materials, tools and equipment for planned maintenance of aircraft if and when required
  • Liaise with local forwarding agents for the smooth transportation/receipt of goods
  • Undertake general store duties such as incoming goods inspections, in accordance with the applicable procedures
  • Handle goods’ customs clearance
  • Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries of rotables & consumables
  • Monitor the progress of spare parts and components dispatched for repair or overhaul
  • Receiving, storing and issuing of materials, supplies, tools and parts utilising an inventory control system
  • Evaluating shipping/delivery options to always arrive at sound decisions for given situations
  • Prepare reports and other tasks as required by the company
  • Ensuring all operations adhere to the required standards
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management as deemed necessary for the proper running of the company’s activities.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role. Applicants with experience in the aviation sector will be given preference, but this is not an ultimate requirement
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • High level of interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Able to problem solve, communicate clearly and work effectively in a team
  • Collaborative, positive and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Be a dedicated person, who takes pride in the job and performs duties diligently, methodically, and is keen to learn and develop his/her career.


EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor's degree.

WORKING TIME
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00.​
