Logistics & Operations Manager

Our client within the Wholesale Trade is looking for a Logistics & Operations Manager to join their growing team. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Managing international supply chain including selecting, negotiating with and managing freight forwarders (land, sea and air), and optimizing the company’s transportation performance in terms of cost and service level. 
• Analyzing data and processes. 
• Refining workflow, supporting automated process management and offering recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
• Streamlining logistics operations and practices in a continuous effort to minimize costs while maximizing service levels.
• Ensuring implementation and maintenance of operating policies on general logistics and product procedures.
• Developing, analysing, and maintaining materials requirements planning and customer forecasts.
• Collaborating with sales and procurement teams for planning and execution of supplier orders and related management.
• Generating reports and presenting information to the Management Team and other departments. 
• Communicating & building solid relationships with external suppliers, customers and buyers. 
• Supporting clients in optimizing inventory.
