Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
VF Group, Malta’s leader in the luxury fashion retail and uniformity business is seeking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to lead the logistics function within the Group including Fashion Retail and Uniformity divisions.

Our Retail Division represents the major luxury fashion and luggage brands including Hugo Boss, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Zegna, Fendi, Moncler, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo, and Samsonite. Whilst our BTI Uniforms Division provides uniforms and workwear to the majority of its’ corporate clients and business establishments on the island.

The Position:
The Logistics Coordinator shall be responsible for the logistics department to track and monitor orders, organise consignment dates and distribution, management of stock and issue pricing and costings. The selected candidate will be required to work closely with all departments including retail, warehouse, finance, marketing, and all respective suppliers to ensure timely shipment of goods and ensure that the logistics department runs smoothly. He/she will also be responsible for weekly and monthly reports, processing of shipping and freight documentation, updating of Stock Management system, stock takes, and reporting to management on any actions required to support efficiency and accuracy within the logistics department.

The Requirements:

• The selected candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position ideally within the clothing retail sector, excellent coordination skills, strong analytical skills, together with a relevant qualification related to business management or logistics.
• Interested applicants must also have an eye for detail, strong analytical skills to produce, analyse, and assess results to make recommendations for improvement to the relevant departments, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Italian preferably, and a good knowledge of MS Office applications, Stock Management systems, and a valid driving license.
