Retail International Group in Malta is looking to recruit a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job role:
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating tasks and duties within the Logistics and Inventory area of the group.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating the overall logistics process of both stocks imported and exported including the necessary preparation of customs and other documentation.
Review of Invoice cost prices, duties, freights & Insurance.
Carrying out necessary consignments reconciliations.
Preparation & reviewing of Selling Prices and the respective Margins.
Monitoring of stock system ensuring the adequate integration of the stock system with other software modules including financial package and POS.
Assist and review the overall stock-taking management process of the Group.
Analyse, review and improve stock control processes.
Liaise with external auditors in relation to inventory and logistics areas.
Other ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
Possess a high knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Be highly accurate, organized and apply a meticulous style within the work tasks assigned.
Be able to develop good working relationships with colleagues.
Have problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of two years of work experience in a similar role and a good knowledge of the retail industry will be preferred.
