Fleet Maintenance Officer (Material Handling)

Job Description
Storage Systems Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Fleet Maintenance Officer (Material Handling) to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Position:
Reporting to the Sales Manager (Material Handling), the Fleet Maintenance Officer will cover a range of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

• Preparing units for Arrival & Departure;
• Ensuring that units are received in good condition/checking specifications for each unit;
• Co-ordinating with the aftersales department for PDI’s and any touch-ups that may be required;
• Handling Certificates of Conformity for all units;
• Accountability of temporary units on emergency loan to incorporate a detailed excel log. All data must be updated on a daily basis;
• Daily stock take of Material Handling Fleet;
• Coordination of transportation;
• Storage and maintenance of charges and routine charging/cleaning of batteries;
• Fuel Management Accountability;
• New LPG tanks Purchase, Filling & Storage. Assigning to new units and fuel maintenance for New Stock Units;
• Ensuring Material Handling Showroom and Warehouse is clean and tidy at all times;
• Daily dusting of Material Handling Units in stock and regular full cleaning of all units;
• Assembly of HPT’s and storage duties;
• Road Registration with Transport Malta. 

The Requirements:

• A valid clean driving license;
• Good command of the Maltese and English language;
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications especially outlook and excel is required;
• A certification for all material handling equipment is preferable however training will be provided to the suitable candidate;
• Clean police conduct;
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.

*The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
