Driver (Cargo)

Job Description
BAS Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Driver (Cargo) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Enjoying an excellent reputation with many satisfied local and foreign clients B.A.S. is a well-recognised leader in providing freight forwarding and logistics solutions.

The position involves the transport of cargo and goods from:

• Airlines;
• Distribution centres;
• Manufacturer’s warehouse;
• Retail outlets;
• Wholesale centres;
• Offices;
• Build up pallets at customers premises;
• Label boxes and pallets for export.

Job Role: 
The job is ideally suited to someone who works on their initiative and feels at ease dealing with a wide range of customers. As well as delivering goods, you must be able to perform various administrative duties such as giving out invoices, filling in forms and getting signatures from the customers. The delivery driver also must keep accurate records of mileage, fuel purchase and other costs incurred while on duty.

About the person:

• We are looking for someone who is reliable and self-motivated and is expected to spend long hours on the road;
• Candidates with spoken Maltese and English together with a C licence will be given preference;
• The minimum age requirement for the job is 24.
