Driver

• To ensure that all deliveries are delivered on time according to schedule reflecting to the needs of the Operation.

• To ensure that products and equipment are delivered in the same state as when loaded.

• Responsible for proper loading and securing of trolleys/crates to prevent movement and allow safe transport, and handle loading and unloading as required.

• Maintain accurate records and logs. 

• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips; responsible for returning Company vehicle in same state as taken. 

• Keep the interior and exterior of the Company vehicle clean. 

• To report any incidents that occur with immediate effect to the Logistics Supervisor and Security.

• To report any noted defects on a Company vehicle to the Logistics Supervisor and Security.

• Observe all related Driving & Health & Safety Regulations as specified by law and Company standards. 

Loading/Unloading procedure 

• All food dishes are to be thoroughly checked to ensure that amount loaded is according to delivery report.

• A delivery report is issued and food is transported directly to SVPR Kitchen. 

• Upon arrival at SVPR Kitchen, the respective trollies are to be unsealed in the presence of Receiving on location.

• All food trays are to be checked to correspond with delivery report, and are to be filled in with all details and signed by both Driver and Receiving on location. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Driving Licence C

• Previous experience as a delivery driver will be considered an asset
