DISPATCHER/CONCRETE BATCH PLANT OPERATOR

We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher. You will receive requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. Ensures that everything runs smoothly by coordinating with customers, providing precise logistics for drivers to follow along on their routes, and coordinating delivery times. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined
schedules, customer requests or immediate needs.

• Controls production and load-out of material produced in the plant.

• Batches concrete loads according to specifications.

• Receive calls, monitor driver logs, addressing problems and dispatching the appropriate team members. 

• Use telephone or text messages to contact employees.

• Preparing daily work such as schedules.

• Answer calls and document information, respond to any issues and follow up by coordinating with the appropriate department on site.

• Keeping and organising work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Respond to queries related to products and deliveries 

• Supervise, assign, review and participate in the works after receiving calls from the clients to ensure procedural compliance. 

• Any other duties according to the exigencies of the company

Requirements and skills

• Proficient in English and Maltese languages

• Ability to multitask

• Decision making 

• Good communicator 

Experience

• 2 years of experience in the same or similar field.
