Customs Clearance and Processing Officer

FastDrop Ltd in Malta, a courier and logistics company that operates the day-to-day deliveries for new and established clients, is looking for their next team member to join as Customs Clearance and Processing Officer.

Job Role:
You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing import and export documentation, processing of the required Customs formalities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies, and coordinating and assisting with Customs Clearance and Processing Officers to facilitate the release of goods. You will be also responsible for daily office work, tracing of shipments, and data record keeping.

Job Requirements:

• Up-to-date knowledge of Customs procedures and regulations
• Use of Customs tools – NIES and the required data inputting
• Customer-oriented and problem solving
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Well-organized, disciplined, and capable of working on their own initiative

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• O’ level standard of education
• Good telephone handling skills and fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably also Maltese
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Valid driving license
• Clean Police conduct.
