Job Description
Our Client is a large organisation with a specific division specialising in the provision of DIY and home improvement products from their large retail store in Central Malta. Buyers are now required to purchase high quality sustainable goods for resale. 

Responsibilities include:

• Category management;
• Understanding consumer trends;
• Sourcing suppliers and products both locally and internationally;
• Developing and maintaining constructive relationships with new and existing suppliers;
• Assisting with tenders;
• Negotiating prices, delivery terms and payment terms with suppliers;
• Working with the warehousing and logistics department to review stock levels and order products.

Applicants will:

• Have experience in a similar role, preferably within a DIY / Home Improvement retail environment;
• Be qualified to degree level in relevant subject;
• Possess excellent in written and spoken English;
• Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills.
