Ably Resources clients in Malta are looking for an Assistant Purchasing Manager, that will report to the client's Purchasing Manager to assist in organizing and supervising purchasing functions, and controlling daily activities in purchasing.
Responsibilities:
- Controlling and supervising stores
- Liaising with suppliers providing goods
- Receiving good and order data
- Making purchases daily
- Taking items from stock when necessary
- Keeping in line with all policies and procedures
- Assisting in any extra purchasing functions required by the Purchasing Manager.
Requirements:
- Have knowledge of material control
- Have experience in a similar role
- Driving licence
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
