Web Backend Developer

Our client, a growing solutions provider in the payments industry, is looking for an independent and motivated individual to join their international team. Responsibilities:

• Being involved in the full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Taking responsibility for design, development, maintenance and quality assurance of a variety of products and services.
• Communicating closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers and other team members in order to fulfill the clients' requirements.
• Being always up to date to new technologies.
• Performing any other duties as required.

• At least 2 years of work experience in Software Development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, version control, Jenkins, Maven, REST web services, Spring, XML and JSON.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, ideally Oracle.
• Familiarity with the Agile methodology.
• High standard of software programming techniques and unit test coverage.
• A meticulous and accurate approach, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
