Team Lead Java Developer

Our client within the iGaming industry is looking to hire a Team Lead Java Developer to join their team in Malta. Having three people reporting to you, your responsibilities include:

• Assisting the team with modernizing the legacy technical stack.
• Together with the help of your team, you will be responsible for polishing software requirements.
• Writing clean and efficient code, whilst also running tests to improve the systems' functionality.
• Implementing and maintaining components.
• Leading the team and providing mentorship and training when and where needed.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Excellent knowledge in Java.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

• While a solid IT-related education is beneficial, a healthy work attitude and motivation to learn is always better than certificates.
